Order & Shipping

Monowear understands the need to get your watchbands immediately! This is why we ship every single working day! Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9AM-5PM Pacific Time Zone (UTC-08:00), excluding major US federal holiday. We will do our best to get your purchases to you at the earliest convenience.

When will my order ship?

Order placed on Monowear™ official site will ship within 1 – 3 business days. A tracking will be emailed to you once the order is dispatched. Please allow up to 1 day for the tracking to be updated by the associated courier service.

How long will it take?

We are based in California, USA. Once the package is dispatched from Monowear, here’s normal processing time for delivery depending on the service of your choice:

What if I want to modify/cancel my order?

Order modification/cancellation requests will be considered, but are not guaranteed. This is simply because we try to ship out orders as quickly as possible, and we cannot cancel an order once it has been dispatched.

If you wish to modify or cancel your order, please contact leslie.j@monoweardesign.com immediately. We will try to accommodate as soon as possible.

Track My Order

Once the package is dispatched, a tracking will be sent to your email. Please allow up to 1 day for the tracking to be updated by the associated courier service. If the tracking is not updated within 2 days, please contact leslie.j@monoweardesign.com.

For most international orders, the tracking will be synced with your local national post. Please use the same tracking number to get the most updated information with your national postal office. If the package is not delivered by the expected delivery date, please contact leslie.j@monoweardesign.com.

Return/Exchange

At Monowear, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We offer a 30 days money back guarantee. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may exchange, replace, or credit your purchase when it is presented in saleable condition. Simply follow the guidelines below:

Return for a REFUND or STORE Credit online

A non-defective item is eligible for refund if the item is returned unused, undamaged, in its original packaging within the 30 days of receiving item. The refund will be processed within 5-10 days of receiving your returned package. The refund will not include original shipping cost and custom duties. Monowear™ will not be responsible for the cost of return shipping. Due to possible loss items during transit, we recommend insuring your watch band, return receipt requested, when returning your items.

NEVER INCLUDE THE APPLE WATCH OR ANY OTHER ARTICLE OF PERSONAL VALUE IN YOUR SHIPMENT. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE MAY SUBSTITUTE A WATCH BAND OF EQUAL VALUE AND SIMILAR APPEARANCE FOR YOURS ON BOTH WITHIN-30 DAYS AND AFTER-30 DAYS WARRANTY RETURN.

Exchange

A non-defective item is eligible for exchange if the item is returned unused, undamaged, in its original packaging within the 30 days of receiving item. If you wish to exchange for a different style, please contact leslie.j@monoweardesign.com for an RMA authorization. A specific store credit will be generated for you to place a new order for the replacement item.

Return packages remain the responsibility of the customer until it is received by our team. Therefore, it is recommended to use traceable carrier when shipping items back to us as Monowear is not reliable for lost packages during transit.

Defective

When item is defective, a new replacement or refund will be sent if notified within 30 days of receipt. Monowear™ will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.

If the defect falls out of the 30 days period but within 1 year of date of purchase, a replacement part or repair will be offered. Buyer is responsible for shipping the merchandise to Monowear for repair.

  • Common defects on watchband includes adapter mechanism, clasp/buckle failure or metal band linking mechanism issues.
  • Common defects on monochest are cover bonding area, loose band flaps or cover magnet.

Price Adjustment

Request for adjustments will be honored if the merchandise was purchased at full price and if it is marked down within 7 days of purchase.

International

We ship to lots of places around the world – just select your country at checkout. If your country is not listed, please contact leslie.j@monoweardesign.com for more information.

VAT/Custom Duty

Monowear™ will not be responsible for any custom / duty charge for international orders. Orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by your country’s customs department. Please contact your local customs office for more information. Packages will be returned to the US if unclaimed, and we can not refund shipping for these cases.

What kind of leather is this?

Our leather is genuine fine leather.

How to take care of the leather band?

Usually when stain dries off, it is less apparent. Here's what we recommend to remove any stains.

  • Get rid of any excess stain/water
  • Use a clean, dry cloth or sponge to wipe away any residue still sitting on the leather, as this keeps it from settling in and worsening the stain.
  • Remove the outline
  • Use leather cleaner and a clean, dry cloth to wipe away the outline that forms around the spot. Spray or apply conservatively, and wipe gently. Repeat until the outline disappears or becomes significantly less visible.
  • Start cleaning the stain
  • Dip a clean sponge in water at room temperature, and wring it out so that the surface is just damp rather than dripping wet. Dampen the entire area surrounding the stain on the leather item, and then wipe the sponge gently along the stained area, moving out from the middle of the stain. Wipe the leather dry with a clean cloth, and wait for the surface to dry.
  • Wipe on a protectant
  • Apply saddle soap to condition the leather after the stain is gone and the leather is dry.

How to care for my Monochest?

  • Remove all the content inside monochest
  • Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Wipe the front cover and the inside to remove any dirt
  • Don't use windows cleaner, household cleaner, aerosol sprays, solvents, ammonia, abrasives, or cleaner containing hydrogen peroxide

Is my watchband waterproof?

Due to the nature of our fine quality leathers, our leather watchband are not waterproof. The leather, metal, and mesh styles can take some moisture, but we would not recommend using during swimming. Nylon and the Nylon Active styles are the only ones that are water resistant.

Are you nickel-free?

Most of our watchbands have a small amount of nickel on the clasp area except the nylon active watchbands that are velcro all the way through.

Warranty

Monowear™ One-Year Limited Warranty

The Basic Coverage:

When purchased through our online shop and authorized retailers Monowear™ products are warranted against defects in materials under normal use for one (1) year from the original date of purchase.

Defective item:

When item is defective, a new replacement or refund will be sent if notified within 30 days of receipt. Monowear™ will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.

This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Monowear™ will not cover defects relating to servicing not performed by Monowear™ Corporation.
  • Monowear™ will not cover defects causing by normal wear and tear.
  • Monowear™ will not provide any warranty service if your watch band shows evidence that it has been tampered with, misused, abused, or altered; for example:
    • damage sufficient to affect the proper function of the adaptor mechanism or buckle
    • excessive wear and tear
  • Monowear™ IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental, special, or consequential, damages, so the above exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.

Your Rights Under Implied Warranties and State Law:
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESSED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES. Monowear™ LIMITS THE DURATION OF ANY WARRANTY IMPLIED BY STATE LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTIBILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
